Pam and I have just finished watching David Dimbleby's "A Picture of Britain" on DVD. Six hours of glorious entertainment for less than £4.
Seeing the paintings that Britain inspired has made me want to capture some of the beauty of this area of Spain.
As a first step, I got out my boxes of pastels to check that they were still OK. As you can see, the French Sennelier pastels on the left have hardly been used. I must put that right before it is too late.
The next step is to select an appropriate piece of pastel paper from the supply of Canson rag papers I have in my portfolio. Then it is just a case of setting up my easel and away we go.
