A wood carver (for 55 years as the sign says!) in Kawayu Onsen, the small hot spring town between Lake Mashu and Lake Kussharo inside Akan Mashu National Park in Hokkaido, Japan.

Shot with a Canon A1 with 50mm 1.2L lens, on Kodak Trix 400 at f2.5 1/90, developed with D76 and scanned using a Minolta DiMage Scan Elite 5400.
