Temple Of The Red Monkey - (Shanghai, China)

Bored? Killing time at work? Here's the way I see it:

By liking the Blame The Monkey Facebook Page or following me on Twitter, I'm helping you, help me, help you, by helping (us) waste a few more pesky seconds at work before the end of the damn day.

Best served on a stick:

OK, so I lied again. This temple has absolutely nothing to do with red monkeys. I just thought it sounded cool. Let’s chalk it up to artistic license.

I actually don’t know much about this temple except that it’s located inside The Yuyuan Garden in Shanghai. You’ll find it smack in the middle of Shanghai Old Street, the oldest area in the city. All of Old Street is built with this old Chinese architectural style & is quite impressive. There are also all sorts of shops and food vendors serving up plenty of random mystery meat(s) on sticks. Keep in mind that in China the word “beef” is a relative term.

Find this photo and many others in The Architectural Photography Gallery.
