don’t slip
I’m always impressed with myself when I travel to Venice because so far, I’ve never fallen into the water.
For this shot, I was laying on my stomach, overhanging the edge. I had my left toe hooked low around a concrete barricade holding me in place. As I attempted to line up the shot, I kept creeping out little by little. When I turned onto my side, my foot slipped a little, nearly causing me to plunge into the (filthy) green water. Luckily enough, I was able to keep my toe hold long enough to re-adjust my position.
I’m pretty sure that would have ruined my day...

- Almost took the plunge
