Sua construção foi iniciada na década de 20 e concluída em 1950. Tem características arquitetônicas no estilo neogótico, trazendo como elementos significativos o verticalismo, a rosácea, os vitrais, as terminações em agulha e o emprego de rendilhados e relevos na ornamentação exterior.
Sua estrutura externa possui uma torre central e duas menores nas laterais, todas as suas janelas são de vitrais coloridos com detalhes dourados e prateados e nos altares com representações das famílias nobres da época da construção, sendo o teto em abóbada de berço mensurada, sem decoração. Recentemente recebeu algumas restaurações e pintura nova, além de uma reforma que mudou o piso, mas suas características originais se mantêm inalteradas. Foi tombada pelo decreto de 28 de setembro de 1999.

Its external structure has a central tower and two smaller sides, all its windows are stained glass windows with gold and silver details and altars with representations of the noble families of the time of construction, and the barrel vault ceiling in measured without decoration .
