USS San Marcos damage

USS San Marcos, ex USS Texas (1892) reduced to scrap iron after being used as target practice in Chesapeake Bay during early 1911. This is looking forward, with the smoke stack and air intakes at far left and the Conning Tower support in front and the forward mast beyond that. The photographer may have been standing on the boom of the aft mast.
