We never do stuff like this because life is so unpredictable here, and we never know when the next emergency will come up.

 

When Audrey had her birthday a couple of years ago, she planned a nice dinner with a bunch of friends, and of course I was called to a rescue 5 minutes before we started.

 

Three hours later I came back to the party... covered with blood from a dog who was hit by a car (just so everybody understand the urgency and why I had to leave). I just said HI to everybody, and went home to take a shower (and by then the party was of course over).

 

I really hope nothing like this will happen next Tuesday, August 14th between 6 P.M and 9 P.M :-)

I hope to see many of you there - old friends, and new friends we never got to meet in person. I heard that Rock & Reilly's is a really cool place and that the food is pretty good too ;-)
