My new iMac is finally in place on my newly cleaned desk...

 

However, I'm still plucking up the courage to set everything up myself, having failed to find a local Mac geek. Of the two empires of geekdom that I found via the local rag, one didn't even answer the phone, and the other told me rather unhelpfully that I should've bought myself a 'proper PeeCee'...
