What is the eligibility for admission and what is the admission procedure?

The Medical Council of India states that the minimum qualification for Indian students for studying in these countries is 50% in the science subjects which are chemistry, physics, and biology to be achieved in their 12th standard final exams. Students belonging to the SC or ST castes need to achieve 40%. Students must also be of a minimum age of 17 years on the 31st of December that year. For admission, students need to fill up the application form online. They have to submit a copy of their passport, certificate of proof of completion of high school and transcripts of records. They will then receive the admission letter and once admission is confirmed, the Department of Federal Migration Service of the Russian Federation issues the official invitation letter for studying in Russia. On receipt of this letter, the student needs to visit the Russian embassy in their country for a student visa. They will need a valid passport, a visa application form duly filled, two passport size identical photos with white background measuring 35 mm X 45mm, a visa support letter from university or college, a copy of admission letter from university or college, and a medical certificate. They will be ready to leave for Russia once they receive the stamped visa.
