Mini Lamp with Lampshade Trio
This mini lampshade trio was created as an entry to the 100 Proof Press "Press It Out" semi annual rubber stamp contest - for July 2009. I found the mini brass candle style lamp with three plain shades at a thrift shop last week and knew they would make a great project to enter.
I created a paper template for the two "scene" shaded using artist grade paper, stamped on the template then adhered each to it's respective shade and added trim to finish it off.
The shade on the lamp base was created by stamping faux postage stamps on paper, cutting each out and adhering them decoupage style to the shade.
I am happy to say this project won 1st place in 100 Proof Press' "Press it Out contest"
