Salkantay Mountain
On our way down from Inca Chiriaska Pass we enjoyed the views of 6271 tall beaty - Salcantay Mountain. Here she is - cover girl! This mountain gives name to two treks. One is called Classic Salkantay trek. Normally it takes 4 nights and doesn't require Inca Trail permit. We selected mix of wilderness-rich Salkantay trek and history-filled Inca trail. The "cost" of extras was two additional nights on the trek.
