Titahi Bay Sheds
Lately have been interested in medium format folding cameras. Experimenting...
Camera: Mamiya Six III.
As far as I can tell this is the III. Post war, manufactured until 1946.
However, some models may have been assembled from spare/leftover parts.
Camera is unique as focus is achieved by moving the film plane. A technique also used in the Contax AX to achieve autofocus with standard/legacy lenses.
Lens cleaned...it’s not perfect. Shutter cleaned and lubed...seems accurate. Range finder cleaned...appears accurate. Foam and felt ordered to sort out light leaks.
Taketiho Tokyo Zuiko 1:3.5 f7.5cm lens.
Siekosha –Rapid 1/500th shutter.
Film: Outdated Agfa Optima 200.
Exposure: 1/250th, f16.
Negative photographed with Pentax K-5II.
Vivitar 55mm f2.8 Macro @ f11.
Two exposures joined in Elements and processed.
Titahi Bay, Wellington.
