Positive but no Patients
Evan Conway and Jerry Frank of Positive Networks, which supplies security/access management to health care institutions. Jerry (a really nice guy with a twinkle in his eye) showed me a lovely chart of how hospitals are connected to doctors and labs and clinics and insurers.... but where are the patients? I asked. Apparently none of the customers (health-care institutions) ever expressed any interest in communicating directly with patients. I was down there in Orlando telling folks at a health-care conference that that will change...... the sooner, the better!
