A guy named Pecker (real name Glenn, I think) stands proudly on Howard's Knob ca. 1980, surveying the town of Boone, NC, while enjoying a Billy Beer. Pecker got his nickname, of course, because he shared a red topknot with cartoon legend Woody Woodpecker (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woody_Woodpecker).
