Life or Death

I followed this young red-tailed hawk this morning as it was hunting aggressively at a local city park. This was the moment as it swooped down from the tree after a long period of motionless perching on the branch and pinned the poor squirrel down with its talons. The poor squirrel didn’t have a chance.
