Venford Dam 5x7 75mm SA
After my slight mistake with the bellows on my Walker SF45 I took my latest aquisition a Canham Metal MQC 5x7 back to Venford to try to capture the spillways and stilling pools with a wide angle lens. I used a Schneider 75mm f5.6 Super Angulon MC at f32 and was pleasantly surprised to discover that it very nearly covers all the frame with just a small amount of vignetting in the corners. At least if I ever buy a 6x17 back I know it should cover well.
This was as close as I could get without getting my feet wet and am quite pleased with the result.
Exposure was 1/2 sec at f32 (min marked aperture on that lens) on 5"x7" Adox 25
This was my first attempt at developing my Adox 25 film in Pyrocat HD which I made up from individual chemicals this morning as per the directions on Sandy Kings blog. I was unsure of the developing time so used 7.5 minutes at 24° C.
