Aphid-hunting Wasp with Resin Ball

There are several of these Passaloecus aphid-hunting wasps using my garden "bee-hotel". I'd been told that several species use tree resins as a nest-building material, so it was interesting to this female returning to the nest with what looks like a ball of resin. They are very industrious.
