Peel Crags and Crag Lough

Canon EOS 50D, Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM, development in Lightroom.

Hadrian's Wall passes along the top of the crags, which are formed from a dolerite named 'Whin Sill'.

Wikipedia (edited): "Crag Lough is an inland lake at the southern edge of Northumberland National Park. At this point Hadrian's Wall is at the top of a line of crags, with Crag Lough at the foot of the crags."
