April:2015:
processing method: using gimp, qtpfsgui, windows microsoft visual studio 2010.
I Opened gimp 2.8, ,next i duplicated image x3,next ii added selected gaussian blur from the filter tools, then with the Channel mixer from the colour tool i converted the image to b&w,next i ticked the monochrome box and adjusted to RGB R:100 G:45 B: -45,,... then chose the top image changing the mode to "colour merge" lowering the opacity to 75%, next i used the shear tool to straighten the horizon slightly ,then used the crop tool next i flattened the image then from the GEGL operation i added a vignette radius set at 1.75, then exported the image and saved it as JPG, ..
As with my previous hdr uploads i duplicated image x3 the 1st (original) duplicate i kept as normal, 2nd duplicate image i used the levels tool and adjusted the level from the middle to the left of the graph to 0.6 to make the image "Underexposed". next, opened 3rd image used levels tool & adjusted from the middle again to the right of the graph to 6.0 to make the image "Overexposed", next i opened Qtpfsgui free hdr software and loaded in the images as followed. 1. Original, 2.Underexposed, 3. Overexposed. clicked hdr tonemapping button, saved image as JPG, then opned up microsoft visual studio 2010, clicked auto edit, to bring out the colour & tones of the image, then closed to save.
