a couple of weeks back me and andrew went to look for our wonderful red squirrels
and they didn’t let us down, at one point we had six of them scurrying around our feet in a forest in beautiful dappled light – quite magical!
however the light was making metering a nightmare, so i didn’t get as many shots as last time
there are a number of old tree stumps we put some nuts in, and just as i was adding some a beautiful little chap ran up and just looked at me expectantly – so i offered him a nut and andrew got the below shot that i just had to share with you as it was my favourite shot of the day – see andrew’s shot below (that’s my hand!)
* also just on a separate note – i know it’s desperately sad about april jones – but please don’t release balloons and lanterns, please find another way of showing support as they are devastating to wildlife *
