Golden moments ....
For the Saturday Smile challenge "Shades of Gold"
Rich and luxurious, for centuries artists have used wafer-thin gold leaf in their art work. Even further back objects like the mask of Tutankhamun in solid gold were used to denote the importance of the person depicted, or the wealth of the owner. Today we have many artificial ways of making the gold colour - it's attraction is just as strong ...there's something warming about the golden colour!
Nothing expensive in my selection of some tinsel, some strand of decorative curls, and a small decorated glass beaker. The background is bit more expensive, being hand-made Japanese gold paper.
