Simple pleasures - the scent of pine and roses

I wanted to capture the spiky nature of the pine needles and the softness of the rose petals. The pine needles have been drying over winter and are now very close in colour to the rose itself. Together in the sunshine in the window the pine fragrance was lovely. I am not sure I captured any of the things I wanted ... but I tried ;o)

 

I used 3 layers of texture, all from 2 Lil Owls - Art Studio-9, Lumen-2 and Light flare-20
