In Berlin you can see blue lights at night on the water of the "Spreekanal". The Source of this far to be seen blue light is this in the Underground-Station "Spittelmarkt". "Spittel" comes from Spital --> Hospital. Anno 1750 here was a market near by an Almshouse/Hospitel (the short version :-) The tiling looks like in an old hospital, do you think?
