Ghostly silhouette of an unknown gorgeous woman (model ? Dancer?) in front of the intriguing patterns of Louis Vuitton megastore (Ngee Ann City, Orchard Road, Singapore)
Still testing my new Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 G lens in some of my favorite night spots for photography. For this shot, i chose a 100 iso exposure nd a slight underexposured compensation of -2EV (for getting a silhouette in the enlightened showroom's backlight) and the max f/1.4 aperture - risky bet, because i could lose in blur what i win in light and silky smooth texture. The pre-editing program of the camera was put on a very blue-green hues for the white and color balance. Then i post-edited the result with the GIMP software : crop for a square format, then switch from the original colour to a monochrome, then canal-mixer for a blue-green background, then enhancement of contrasts for more density in the blacks of the silhouette and crispier patterns of the background.

Toujours en test de ce nouvel objectif Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 G dans mes coins nocturnes préférés. Pour ce cliché, j'ai choisi une exposition à 100 iso et une légère sous-exposition augmentée par la sous-compensation en -2EV (pour avoir une silhouette en contrejour de la vitrine éclairée) et l'ouverture maximale à f/1.4 - pari risqué, parce que je pouvais perdre en flou ce que je pouvais gagner en lumière et aspect soyeux du rendu. L'appareil était pré-réglé sur une balance des blancs et couleurs tendant franchement vers les teintes bleues et vertes. Ensuite, j'ai retouché la photo avec le logiciel the GIMP : découpe pour obtenir un carré, puis passage de la couleur au noir et blanc, puis mixage des canaux pour un fond bleu-vert, puis rehaussage des contrastes pour une ombre noire plus dense de la silhouette et des motifs plus nets du décor.
