Afghan National Army Sgt. As Afghan forces become more independent in the conduct of security operations in Garmsir district, the ETT Marines are focused on teaching ANA leaders how to employ their men in this mission. Rather than focusing solely on weapons handling and employment during the 20-day course, Marine instructors concentrated on developing ANA noncommissioned officers as machine gun team leaders.
