Camping Beinn Bhuidhe
Campsite on the summit of Beinn Bhiude on a fabulous night, with the last moment of sun disappearing behind the Cruachan range.
Seizing a weather window I left sharp from work Friday and headed up this hill with a 25kg pack. It was slow going, but I made the summit just in time for the best of the light.
I'm always pleased when I can camp right at the top.
The tent is a new toy. Camera gear is not my limiting factor in taking good photos, being there is. The Superlight Voyager is only 600g heavier than the bivy bag and way more civilised.
