Quoting Albert Camus, which is quite ironic as one of his best works is The Plague, about a deadly epidemic which forces a city into lockdown. It's a metaphor on French acceptance of Nazi occupation, but he clearly knew what he was talking about medically and I believe would have been pro-vaccination
