Statue of Oliver Cromwell. Dated 1875 with two lettered panels, the upper inscribed:

 

"OLIVER CROMWELL, BORN 1599, DIED 1658",

 

and the lower :

 

"ELIZABETH HEYWOOD TO THE CITIZENS OF MANCHESTER".
