rstudio: “R not found: unable to locate R binary by scanning standard locations” on Mac OS X #yosemite 10.10.3 #rstats

If you get this error, its probably because you've forgotten to install R first before installing R studio (the IDE). Duh!

 

Install R here

cran.r-project.org/bin/macosx/

 

Then install R studio

www.rstudio.com/products/rstudio/
