Barbie Chic (2002)
She has the Generation Girl Barbie head mold, which I've never been a huge fan of, but lately I'm discovering a lot of lovelies made with it.
Her head is adequately small. It was the last years before they went with big heads, beginning with the Fashion Fever line, in about 2004. Being a budget doll, her legs are straight, non bendable.
Her dress exists in a least 4 fabrics variations. It has tinsels woven into the fabric, which give the shiny effect. I much prefer tinsels over glitters because I hate having glitters spread all over the place (by the way kids swallow glitters all the time when they play with glittery items!!).
I have a drawer full of Barbie glitter dresses that I never open, I just put them all in there and never touch them. I hate glitters. It should be forbidden.
And yes, a cardboard handbag was very chic back in 2002.
