Devotion
Since the pen is so muddy, I put out some kennels lined with hay on the back patio for the ducks' convenience in laying eggs.
Lady Goosie was occupying the large one laying an egg, while her husband, Sir Duck was guarding her. It is really sweet to see his devotion. Just prior to this, Sir Duck singlewingedly chased off 3 geese who were trying to pick on his lady fair. Ah, Romance!
