Ex-London Transport RM221 now operated by hasslefree.co.nz in Christchurch is seen about to depart on a sightseeing tour of the stricken city.
I think that the bus is RM221 VLT221 which entered service in April 1960 and had been withdrawn in 1984. By 1988 it had been re-registered WTS128A and in saw service with Strathtay Scottish .After leaving Scotland it was converted into an open-topper before export to New Zealand in 1996. Originally used at Wanaka airfield. I am not definite about its identity but I visited Wanaka airfield and there was no sign of an RM there.
