A line up of Doncaster Corporation buses including 478HDT, a Roe bodied Daimler CVG6/30 and MDT224. Doncaster Corporation Transport acquired three AEC Regal IIIs with Roe B39F bodies in 1953. They were registered MDT 222 - 4 and given the fleet numbers 22, 23 and 24. Number 22 is perhaps the most celebrated, having been acquired for preservation and now one of the exhibits at the The Trolleybus Museum at Sandtoft.
23 and 24 had been transferred to the welfare department in 1968 were repainted in the green livery. They were withdrawn in 1972.
