04-75 FDT39C Leyland Royal Tiger Cub on North Bridge.

FDT39C was a Leyland Royal Tiger Cub RTC1/1 with a Roe dual door body. It was new to Doncaster Corporation Transport as number 39, becoming South Yorkshire PTE 1039 in April 1974.

This view from the then new multi-storey car park has changed dramatically over the years, indeed even the car park has disappeared. North Bridge has been altered to accommodate the overhead wires of the electrified railway below. Greyfriars Swimming Baths, the trolleybus depot, the gas holder and Thorpe Marsh power station on the horizon have all been swept away.
