Confession 5: I (still) want to be a rock star.
I can play a guitar; not as good as I would like, but I can still play. What I learned, I taught myself, so I know I could learn more if I needed to.
I can sing pretty descent. The only thing about that is, most people that have heard me "sing", have only heard me sing karaoke, where I am usually 3 sheets to the wind. This is not what I sound like when I REALLY sing. I am actually so critical over myself, that there are few that have actually heard me sing.
I had a friend in college, who was going to start a band with me. We were big into Christian acoustic stuff, and we would hang out and sing and harmonize. Our voices were like peanut butter and jelly together; but nothing came of it. I kind of wish I would have been more persistent with it. I also wish I was more self-confident to go after this; because it is an ultimate dream to be up on that stage, singing my heart out to people. That would be heaven.
