There is no doubt our parents play a significant role in who we become. For me, I owe my love of the outdoors to my dad and grandpa.
The geological processes of the desert are immensely varied. Sand dunes, with their curves and textures, create strong compositions and lend well to telephoto focal lengths. I shot this beautiful ridgeline snaking high above the desert floor at 300mm. At nearly 700 ft tall, it’s one of the tallest dunes in North America.
