Tuweap Dreaming

Six years ago, I came to this spot to shoot the Milky Way for the first time. Imagine standing on the edge alone looking into the vast and expansive wildness lit up by the starry sky! It remains one of my all time favorite Milky Way locations to this day! Since then, I have returned to this spot numerous times to try to get the perfect shot. Earlier this year, I finally nailed it. This is a 3-shot horizontal pano at 15mm. A couple days ago I helped a client put together a similar Milky Way pano he took while on tour with us. If you are interested in post-processing training via Skype, just shoot us an email to info@actionphototours.com.

Tech specs--Sky: 8 shots stacked x 3 panos sequences. ISO 10,000, f/2.8, 13sec. Foreground was done as a second pass at ISO 1600, f/2.8, 8min with LENR turned on.
