Candid at Scarborough Centre.
Update (03/14/07): I didn't ask permission for most of the shots that I took of people on the system; the idea was to get candids of people interacting with the system, and I was trying to be as low-profile as possible. In most cases, I simply got a shot or two and left, didn't speak to the people that I was taking photos of, didn't get their names, their stories, or anything. I liked the idea of shared anonymity. (Out of respect for those people, I also don't sell any prints with them in it.) Today, I got an e-mail from a Tony Singh, who, as it turns out, is the subject of this shot (and is cool with it, luckily).
Says Tony: "Everybody in my office is using it as their desktop wallpaper. It's funny cause everybody keeps saying that it looks like I'm in deep thought. Reality is that I was looking at the progress of the condos being built across the way (sorry if that ruins the magic)."
