Woke up early this morning (3:45 am) to try and get to Shenandoah and get some good sunrise pics. Headed out by 4:30 am. The roads were pretty deserted, but I stayed only a little over the speed limits cos I did not want to have to waste time by getting pulled over. Sadly, by the time I got to Shen, the sun had risen (I got there 10 minutes late).
I clicked a few sunrise pics from the Thorofare Overlook (will post them shortly) and drove on to the Big Meadows rest area. Saw a lot of deer on the way, but by the time I took out the camera, adjusted the settings etc, they went off the road and hid behind the trees.
I parked my car at Big Meadows and carried all my gear to the Big Meadows to try and get some pics of the deer, but there weren't too many around. I got a few pics of a deer and a fawn, I must see if they have turned out well. While getting back, I noticed the dew on the leaves and clicked a few pics. My hands were really shaky so I bumped up the ISO so that I could keep the shutter speed high. Removed the noise in Noiseware.
