DSC_6440-2R1 Wolf Group

It is thought that some habits can synchronize the mood of some animals. In wolves the howl does this. The yawn is involuntary and thought to indicate fatigue in the pack, synchronizing their potential sleeping patterns. This photo was taken at the International Wolf Center in Ely, Minnesota. The animals are inside of a large physical fence. Camera work is thru clear plastic walls. The animals seem to be well managed and healthy. The animals have come to the facility thru different processes that prohibits there being returned to the Wild.
