Gray Wolf (Canis lupus). This animal was said to be the oldest resident at the facility.
They inferred that he would likely be the next animal to fight serious old age issues. This photo was taken at the International Wolf Center in Ely, Minnesota. The animals are inside of a large physical fence. Camera work is thru clear plastic walls. The animals seem to be well managed and healthy. The animals have come to the facility thru different processes that prohibits their being returned to the Wild.
