I was working on a chieftain tank before, but I realized I did not have the parts I wanted to make the replica the way I wanted it to be, so I went ahead and remade my Challenger II tank. I have built 3 of them now, with the first one being really bad and the second one leaving me very happy. Despite this, the second one had some issues that really did bother me. Firstly, the frontal sloping just did not look right to me nor was it sturdy. The turret on the second version was also bothering me, as it had a gap right in between where the top met with the sides. In this new version, I addressed these issues by making some minor changes to the turret and major changes to the way the frontal slope was made. I was unable to put an interior in, but there is plenty of room to do that later. One of the first changes that is probably easy to spot is that I changed the design of the gun. It was also suggested to me by Connor Querin that the width of the tank should be 7 studs rather than 8, so I went ahead and changed that as well and I think that was a major improvement, so thank you for that piece of advice. The build took me about 4 days to complete, and I had fun figuring out how to build it. As usual, feedback is much appreciated. Thanks for stopping by!
