Bridges are so intertwined with the rivers and bays of our state that I have come to see them as a part of our landscape. Portland's St. Johns Bridge is among the most wonderful.

drwhimsy says: The Pacific has it's own special alure. All of the Oregon coast is public beach. From studying Jesse's photos (and his generous sharing of ideas) I have learned a lot about nuetral density filters and long exposures, but mainly I've seen beauty.

drwhimsy says: We have a lot of volcanic mountains (the Cascade range) out here. Mt. Washington is among the smaller. Although I have kayaked this lake on a cold foggy morning -- camera in tow (okay in a dry bag) -- I can't match Ara's eye or talent.
