Retouch project - step 10a, noise test
I often find myself getting too focused on the micro details, and losing sight of the overall project. To combat that, after each of the reconstruction steps I temporarily apply noise reduction to see how things are going, and to get an idea of how to attack the next section.
This test shows me that the left eye reconstruction is pretty good, and what parts of the right eye I'm going to have to craft out of thin air - or steal from the left eye. Looks like the right eyebrow might need to be toned down a bit as well.
