While we were waiting for the casting to cool, Dan showed me a piece in progress. This is the back side of recently cast ring, waiting to be cleaned up. You can see one of the rough-cut pour points on the right side. The ring depicts an old sea tar in a loving kiss with his mermaid-wife, on a a frothy wave.
