Simba
I attended Jolene's company picnic in Central Park last Summer where I was invited to take some shots of her co-workers and their families. This little guy had his face painted by Regina (Jolene's daughter) who was entertaining the kiddies as "Z," the party clown.
Anyhoo, he was running and playing with the other children, until he saw me taking his picture. He literally froze on the spot, arms and body a bit contorted in a shy, defensive posture. He waited for me to make adjustments and snap the shutter, and as soon as I lowered the camera, he took off like a shot.
Not so much lion-like behavior, but then again, he could have just been honing his stalking skills. You know, the Serengeti Surprise technique:
"Hey Phil, watch as I pose for the tourists, make my exit, then sneak around and disembowel them. What a hoot that'll be. Bring that gazelle from home. We'll make a night of it."

I call it the "Flickr Daily Photog Pickr," and today's pick is The Tomahawk Kid : www.flickr.com/photos/tomahawk/
Enjoy!
