6 (Large)

1970 Triumph TR6

Chassis No. CC50189L

With the introduction of the TR2 in 1953, America’s love affair with the British sports car was in full bloom. Steady improvements led to the TR6, a car that marked the end of the line for the traditional English sports car. Produced from 1969 to 1976, the TR6 remains sought after by collectors and sports car enthusiasts alike. A large part of the TR6’s enduring appeal resulted from its Karmann-designed body and peppy 2.5L inline six cylinder engine.

Presented here is without a doubt, one the finest examples around. Fresh from a recent nut-and-bolt show-quality restoration, no expense or effort was spared reviving this beautiful Jasmine yellow roadster back to new. Every single item and detail was meticulously addressed inside and out, keeping authenticity and modern drivability in mind.

With the addition of a tasteful luxurious such as the deep stained dash with matching steering wheel and shifter knob (original included), the Triumph appears even more stunning than its counterparts; and to improve upon an already fantastic vehicle, a modern wiring, fusing and charging system were implemented along with wider radial tires. A solid body and absolutely immaculate undercarriage complete the presentation.

The roadster certainly drives just as well as it appears; a thrilling experience unrivaled by most modern sports cars. An incredible find today, at a fraction of the restoration cost!
