987 Porsche 911 (Type 930) Turbo Coupe
Chassis No. WP0JB0935HS050999
Engine No. 68H01007
The name 930 was an internal designation for a turbo 911 built from 76-93. The Type 930 Coupe had been intended to satisfy racing homologation requirements that stated 500 examples were required to be built in order to race. Porsche began with the 911 and added flared fenders to protect the wider wheels and tires. A rear spoiler was placed on the rear and the engine was given a KKK turbocharger. Though it was originally intended for racing, the market demanded that Porsche produce road-going versions. It was introduced in 1975 and stayed in production for a number of years, until finally being phased out in 1989.
WP0JB0935HS050999: Finished in glossy black paint, complimented by oxblood leather trimmed upholstery, this 1987 U.S.-delivery model Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe is a highly desirable find among Porsche collectors.
Complete with toll roll, spare, jack and books, this well optioned example is fitted with air conditioning, Borbet wheels, side skirts, strut tower bracing, fog lights, headlamp washers, sunroof, power locks, mirrors, windows, rear window defroster, tinted glass, and an aftermarket Clarion audio system.
As with any original 23 year old vehicle, the car does exhibit minor interior and exterior blemishes, which certainly do not take away from the overall finish of this beautifully preserved example. The 930 is mechanically strong and solid throughout, and with less than 40k recorded miles, it appears this turbo coupe has been sparingly driven over the years.
This Porsche is very near the top of the supercar league, and will be willing to take you wherever you want to go.
* Desirable 930 Turbo Coupe!
* A low-mileage, well maintained example!
* Clean CARFAX!
* Nicely equipped!
* A thrilling driver!
