Lunch Time (20160709-145056-PJG)

Yesterday was another very grey day, but luckily the rain held off for the time I was out visiting with the young eaglets. Both of the eaglets are now branching and exercising their wings. In this particular scene, one of the eaglets was at the top of the large branch, when one of the parents arrived with some lunch. The mature bald eagle basically dropped off the lunch, and went to perch for a minute or two before taking off again. The eaglet launched itself into the bowl of the nest to partake lunch.

I wonder if they will be there the next chance I have to go out.
