Pair of Eaglets (20160624-143718-PJG)

Presenting a pair of this year's eaglets. Neither of them had fledged when I took this photograph, but I suspect the one on the right will be the first to do so in a few weeks. The eaglet on the right was the one doing jumping jacks in my two previous posts of "Spread Eaglets" and "Jumping Eaglet". If one looks closely at the one on the right, one can see its nictating membrane in mid-slide on the eye.

As an aside, the term juvenile only applies once the eaglet has fledged. :)
